Cover Supervisor

Salary: Grade 4, £17,888 - £18,756 per annum. £12.84 - £13.47 per hour

32 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Required for September 2025 (subject to satisfactory references and checks)

Cover Supervisor required to be based at Atherton St George's CE Primary School

Grade 4, Term Time 32 hours per week

The Wings’ CE Trust are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our friendly and caring Christian school.

If you want to ‘create a better future’ for children every working day, this is an ideal position for someone who is a team player, has a positive attitude and understands the importance of providing a safe learning environment.

The Purpose of the role:

The Trustees of The Wings’ CE Trust are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor to supervise whole classes during the absence of the class teacher, planned or otherwise, under the guidance of teaching staff.

The successful candidate would:

  • Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers,
  • Managing behaviour appropriately and ensuring that the work set is completed by the students,
  • Covering a range of classes in different subject areas with a range of students, varying in age and ability,
