IT Technician
IT Technician (37 hours per week TT + 4 weeks) G5
Base: To work across three schools - Atherton St George’s CE Primary, Leigh CE and St Mark’s CE Primary
Required as soon as possible
The Trustee’s of the Wings’ CE Trust are seeking a reliable, dynamic and responsible person proficient in providing a streamlined operation of the ICT areas across the MAT. The schools consist of workstations made up of a combination of Windows PCs, MacBooks, iMacs and iPads.
The successful candidate would:

Ensure safe operation and maintenance of a number of other technologies within the schools including reprographics and audio-visual equipment. Working with our IT provider the post holder will be required to work with other professionals to receive timely information, advice, guidance and support.

Establish good relationships with all teaching staff, support staff, pupils and other stakeholders, and provide ongoing technical support to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.

This role is part of the central team working across three sites around the Wigan Borough (Wigan, Leigh an Atherton) so you will need to be prepared to travel between the sites. If you think that you have the skills and attributes for this exciting role, we would be pleased to hear from you.
